    Cody Carter

    Athletic Director & Personal Trainer

    Cody is an NSCA-certified trainer with a B.S. in Kinesiology and apart of our community since 2019. His approach centers on helping clients move better, feel stronger, and reduce chronic pain—so they can thrive both inside and outside the gym.

    Cody works with a wide range of individuals, including Youth Strength and Conditioning, former athletes with lingering injuries, newcomers to strength training, and busy professionals looking to stay consistent with their fitness goals. He specializes in foundational barbell movements such as squats, bench press, and deadlift, tailoring programs to support real-life strength and functionality.

    A former college basketball player, Cody brings a team-focused mindset and upbeat energy to every session. Outside the gym, he’s always open to movie recommendations and is known for his collection of fun socks. His favorite part of the job? Connecting with people and helping them become the strongest version of themselves.

    Indigo Avisov

    Personal Trainer, Sculpt & HIIT Instructor

    Indigo K. Avisov—known by most as Indi—is a trauma-informed personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and holistic health coach with over 18 years of experience in athletic training and wellness. A former basketball player and coach, Indi brings a lifelong connection to sport, competition, and disciplined movement, including five years spent immersed in shadow and kickboxing at a boxing gym.

    Indi holds multiple certifications including Certified Personal Trainer, TRX Suspension Trainer, Yoga Sculpt Instructor, and HIIT Instructor. Additionally, they are credentialed through ISSA in Nutrition, Strength and Conditioning, and Bodybuilding. Their approach blends high-level training with a holistic focus, aiming to foster strength, resilience, and self-awareness in every client.

    Known for leading energizing group classes and supportive one-on-one sessions, Indi’s coaching is rooted in inclusivity, authenticity, and empowerment. They aim to create a space where individuals of all backgrounds feel encouraged to grow—physically, mentally, and spiritually.

    Outside of coaching, Indi is a Holistic Purpose Coach and wellness advocate. You’ll often find them dancing Latin ballroom, playing guitar, surfing, or getting lost in nature. Their mission is to help others unlock their potential and find joy through movement and self-discovery.

    Ricardo Labrado

    Personal Trainer

    Ricardo is a NASM-certified personal trainer with a B.S. in Psychology and has been training clients at Santa Cruz Power Fitness since 2021. His coaching focuses on helping individuals build strength, stay consistent, and prioritize their overall health through sustainable fitness routines.

    He works with a wide range of clients—from bodybuilders to beginners and those returning to the gym after time away—offering support, structure, and encouragement at every step. Ricardo’s sessions are designed to create both physical progress and a mental reset, offering clients a positive outlet from daily stress.

    Outside of the gym, Ricardo enjoys Mexican and Vietnamese food, prefers red meat over chicken, and values quiet time—though working with clients has helped him become more open and outgoing. His favorite part of training is seeing people feel better about themselves, both physically and mentally, and creating a space where they leave with a smile.

    Megan Harrison

    Personal Trainer

    Megan is a NASM-certified personal trainer with a B.S. in Bioengineering and a minor in Electrical Engineering. Since joining Santa Cruz Power Fitness in 2022, she’s been helping clients build strength, recover from injury, and reconnect with their bodies through movement and nutrition.

    Her coaching focuses on rehabilitation, body recomposition, and performance training—working with everyone from student athletes to older adults. Megan also supports clients navigating disordered eating, offering guidance on nutrition and helping them rebuild a healthy relationship with food.

    You’ll find Megan blending technical expertise with a compassionate approach, always aiming to help others feel stronger, more confident, and capable in their everyday lives. Outside the gym, she enjoys forest walks, painting by the water, and relaxing with animals. Her dream weekend? Sun-soaked naps and coffee—preferably a decaf soy Gibraltar from Verve—and yes, she’s always happy to meet your dog.

    Dillon McGlue

    Personal Trainer

    Dillon is a NASM-certified personal trainer who began his professional fitness journey in 2024. Before completing his certification, he coached Ultimate Frisbee and trained extensively in competitive rock climbing and surfing—bringing a diverse athletic background to his coaching style.

    Dillon focuses on helping clients build strength, improve flexibility, and enhance mobility through well-rounded, balanced programming. He works with athletes, active individuals, and those recovering from injuries—offering both performance-based training and support for rebuilding strength and resilience post-injury. His goal is to help clients perform at their best while minimizing the risk of injury through mindful movement and functional training.

    You’ll find Dillon working with clients who want to increase power, agility, and endurance, or refine bodyweight and mobility-focused exercises. His empathetic and athletic background allows him to connect with clients at every stage of their fitness journey.

    Outside the gym, Dillon is an avid traveler who has lived in the Caribbean, UK, and Australia, and visited over 20 countries. He enjoys surfing, photography, and has a lifelong love for dogs—having grown up with three big ones at home. His favorite part of the job? Helping people reach their goals while staying active and engaged throughout the day.

    Jonathon Aguilar

    Personal Trainer

    Jonathon is a NASM-certified personal trainer who joined Santa Cruz Athletic Club in 2024. With over seven years of experience in athletic coaching and a background as an international-level ice hockey goaltender, Jonathon brings a high-performance mindset and a passion for helping others achieve lasting, meaningful results.

    He specializes in improving overall health, building strength and endurance, and supporting clients in reaching their body composition goals—whether that’s gaining muscle or reducing body fat. Jonathon works with a diverse range of individuals, from elite athletes to complete beginners, and believes it's never too late to start making positive changes.

    Outside the gym, Jonathon is the creative director of his brand, PADOUM, and leads his own athletic club with weekly Sunday morning gatherings. Originally from Pasadena, he’s found a deep appreciation for the Santa Cruz community and its connection to nature. His passions also include fashion, hockey, and building authentic relationships with those around him.

    For Jonathon, the most rewarding part of training is forming meaningful connections and supporting clients on their journey to strength, confidence, and better health.

  • Jiles Maness

    Personal Trainer

    Jiles is an NAFC-certified personal trainer with a background that spans athletic performance and mental wellness. His training journey began in high school through football and track, and over time evolved into a holistic mind-body approach that he now brings to his clients. Jiles combines physical training with psychological resilience, offering a unique blend of sports science, breathwork, and mindfulness to help clients reach their mental and physical goals.

    A former collegiate pole vaulter at the U.S. Naval Academy and Navy SEAL with 10 years of service, Jiles applies elite-level discipline, presence, and purpose to every session. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Sport Psychology, he aims to earn a PsyD and bridge the gap between physical training and emotional healing. Jiles works with a diverse range of clients, from athletes to veterans, and focuses on building mental fortitude, resilience, and inner clarity, both in and out of the gym.

    His approach is centered around helping clients push past their limits to unlock confidence, clarity, and strength. His favorite part of the job is witnessing clients reconnect with their power and walk away from training more grounded, confident, and clear-minded.

    Outside of coaching, Jiles enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and creating music, finding joy and healing through movement, nature, and creative expression.

  • Jon Schroeder

    Personal Trainer

    Jon is a certified personal trainer with 5 years of experience. He is ACE Certified and specializes in helping clients build strength, gain lean muscle, lose fat, and improve overall mobility and functional fitness.

    Jon works primarily with busy professionals who need time-efficient training and beginners who are new to fitness and looking to build confidence. His approach is tailored to meet clients where they are and help them achieve lasting results.

    Outside of training, Jon has a mated pair of wild ravens, has never been on a roller coaster, and is a proud dad. His favorite part of the job is seeing clients achieve milestones they once thought impossible and watching their confidence grow, both in and out of the gym.

  • Delaney Pratt

    Personal Trainer

    Delaney is a personal trainer with 5 years of experience, specializing in functional fitness, strength, and muscle development through resistance training. She also focuses on sport-specific strength and conditioning and helps clients establish sustainable fitness routines.

    Delaney works with a diverse range of clients, including athletes, adults, and those recovering from injuries or rehab. She is passionate about helping individuals unlock their full potential and build long-term fitness habits.

    Outside of training, Delaney played Division 1 Women’s lacrosse, has solo traveled to Asia, Europe, and Central America, and started skiing at the age of 2.

    Her favorite part of the job? Helping clients realize their capabilities and witnessing their confidence grow through health and fitness—a deeply rewarding experience for Delaney.

  • Chloe Maslansky

    Personal Trainer

    Chloe is a personal trainer with a deep passion for movement, healing, and helping people feel at home in their bodies. After a year in the field, Chloe has developed a client-centered approach that supports individuals at all stages of life and fitness. She has worked extensively with postpartum women, helping them rebuild strength and maintain it through pregnancy. Chloe also focuses on improving mobility for clients dealing with aging, injury, or chronic conditions, as well as guiding others through sustainable fat loss and full-body transformations. Additionally, she works with individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities, tailoring programs to support confidence, strength, balance, and functional independence, always ensuring that her approach is adaptive, dignified, and empowering.

    Chloe works primarily with pregnant and postpartum women, seniors looking to improve or maintain their quality of life, and individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities. Each group brings its own unique strengths and needs, and Chloe creates personalized programs with care and compassion.

    Outside of training, Chloe loves old cars, finds cooking to be a relaxing and creative outlet, and has a soft spot for all animals—especially dogs. Her favorite part of the job is helping people reconnect with themselves. Whether they’re regaining strength after a major life change or discovering the joy of movement for the first time, Chloe finds great reward in witnessing her clients grow in confidence and feel more at home in their bodies with every session.
