Built for high school athletes who want to level up. Whether you're preparing for a season or just getting started, the SCAC Youth Program delivers expert coaching, small group focus, and the tools to boost strength, speed, and confidence.

Athlete progress is tracked through a structured testing approach that measures strength, explosiveness, speed, and overall performance capacity. Testing is conducted periodically to monitor development, highlight strengths, and identify areas for improvement.
Each athlete is evaluated on movements appropriate to their skill level, with coaches tailoring variations to ensure both safety and progression.

To complement on-the-floor testing, athletes also undergo assessments using:InBody Analysis – for body composition, lean mass, and balance

Pnoe VO₂ Max Testing – for advanced cardiovascular performance and endurance tracking
By combining traditional athletic benchmarks with advanced performance technology, SCAC provides athletes with a comprehensive picture of their development and a clear path forward in training.

Meet Our Coaches

Delaney Pratt
Coach
Delaney Pratt is a former Division 1 lacrosse player at the University of New Hampshire, where she served as team captain. She also played high school lacrosse, volleyball, and competed in ski racing. Delaney has a wealth of coaching experience at various levels, specializing in one-on-one lacrosse training with a focus on strength and conditioning to help athletes reach their peak potential.
As a coach, Delaney aims to empower young athletes by fostering confidence and guiding them through safe, individualized strength training. She is passionate about creating opportunities for athletes to develop their skills before reaching college-level competition. Delaney’s mission is to build trust with her athletes, inspiring them to pursue their physical and mental growth with excitement and dedication.
When she’s not coaching, Delaney enjoys skiing, having started at the age of two and becoming a ski instructor. She’s also an avid traveler, having solo-traveled to Southeast Asia, Central America, and Europe, and enjoys surfing and scuba diving.
Her advice to her younger self would be, "Don’t take everything so seriously. When things get tough, remember why you love your sport. It’s all about having fun and challenging yourself to see how far you can go."

Cody Carter
Coach
Cody Carter is a former Division 3 basketball player at Cornell College, where he played for four years and served as team captain in his senior year. He has been a personal trainer for the past 6 years, helping athletes improve their performance both on and off the court. Cody was fortunate to have great coaches who guided him throughout his athletic journey, and now as a coach in this program, he’s excited to continue that legacy by helping the next generation of athletes make the most of their careers.
Outside of coaching, Cody loves to read fiction, was born in Sun Valley, Idaho, and prefers listening to podcasts over music while working out. His advice to his younger self would be, "These days will be some of the best in your life. Work hard, but don’t forget to enjoy them."

Alex Booth
Coach
Alex Booth is an experienced soccer player and coach with a background spanning both the UK and USA. He has been coaching soccer since 2008 and played college soccer at 40 years old. With his extensive experience in the sport, Alex is passionate about helping athletes grow and develop their skills.
For Alex, coaching means everything. While coaching teams allows him to directly influence 16-20 players, being part of a program like this enables him to impact hundreds of athletes across various sports over the years.
Outside of coaching, Alex runs a dog walking business by day. He also had the unique opportunity to coach the current world’s most expensive female soccer player.
Alex’s advice to his younger self would be, “Listen more than you talk. If I had taken in more from my coaches, I would have gone much further.”

Dillion McGlue
Coach
Dillon McGlue is a former competitive rock climber who was ranked 3rd in the nation at one point. He also played Ultimate Frisbee in middle and high school, winning a State Championship in his freshman year. Dillon’s athletic background spans multiple sports, including surfing, soccer, cross-country running, mountain biking in Colorado and Utah, and skiing/snowboarding in the winter. In addition to his athletic pursuits, Dillon has coached Ultimate Frisbee and taught both rock climbing and surfing.
As a coach, Dillon is passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential, fostering a strong work ethic, dedication, and a drive to continuously improve. He also strives to build a solid foundation for fitness and training that his athletes can carry with them throughout their lives.
When he’s not coaching, Dillon enjoys reflecting on his time living in Australia for six months, his Colorado upbringing, and the cabin he built in Canada.
Dillon’s advice to his younger self would be, “Try as many sports as possible at a young age. You never know what you might enjoy the most, and those experiences will help you in the future. As you get older, though, focus on one or two sports if that’s what you want to pursue. The more time and training you dedicate, the better you’ll become.”

Nick Leonard
Coach
Nick Leonard is a former high school varsity letterman in both football and baseball and a four-year starter on the offensive line at Colorado Mesa University, where he earned All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honors and was an Honorable Mention All-American. He also served as team captain for two years. With 9 years of strength and conditioning coaching experience and 8 years in high school athletic coaching, Nick has coached at various levels, including as the Football Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Colorado, where he helped train the 2016 PAC-12 South Conference champions. He has been the Head High School Strength and Conditioning Coach for 7 years, working at Wheat Ridge High School and currently at Scotts Valley High School. Additionally, Nick has held coaching positions in football and baseball and has taught high school physical education for 8 years.
Nick holds certifications as a USA Olympic Weightlifting Coach and degrees in Exercise Science and Education Leadership. Coaching in this program allows him to focus on the individual needs of athletes, helping them refine their techniques, build confidence, and unlock their full potential. For Nick, coaching is about more than just physical strength—it’s about developing discipline, work ethic, and a love for the process that athletes can carry with them for life.
Outside of coaching, Nick is an avid snowboarder, having spent over 40 days on the slopes during the 2021 season. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, and their 8-month-old daughter, Kylie. His go-to karaoke song is “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks. Nick’s advice to his younger self would be, “Focus on progress, not perfection. Small, consistent improvements lead to long-term success.”

Middle school and high school athletes looking to improve their strength, speed, and agility, gain confidence in a gym / weight room setting, and take that next step in their athletic career.

Session will be either before school or after 6 pm to avoid high traffic gym times.
Workouts will last approximately 1 hour.

Athletes will be allowed to come to 2 training sessions a week.
There is a 2 session maximum so your young athlete can still focus on their sport and ensure overtraining won't occur.

There will be a max of 5 athletes per session so each athlete gets as much personal instruction from our coaches as possible.

Our program costs $280 monthly and includes 8 small group sessions per month ($35 per session).

Unused sessions will not roll over to the following month. Each billing cycle will allow for 8 more sessions to be used that month. This program is billed month to month and can be cancelled or downgraded to a regular membership anytime.

Commitment discount - enroll in 2 months (16 sessions) and receive a 5% discount.
Grades discount - if the gpa of the athletes has increased from their first training purchase they are eligible for an additional 5% discount.
